the Genesis program has heard back from meteorologists they passed data to from our last science flight - they are eager for more! We haven't worked out any contract deals yet but will continue to share data when we can in the hopes of creating even more interest

Ops Director @DKerman_KSA has signed off on all launch readiness reports from today's preparations and we are GO for launch attempt tomorrow! Pre-launch operations will commence @ 13:20 UTC ops.kerbalspace.agency/?vessel=progenβ¦

launch for today has been scrubbed on account of reports from maritime vessels traveling from Sheltered Rock to Umbarg that a strong low-pressure system is sitting over our planned recovery zone & seas are too rough. We will try again tomorrow, targeting a 17:05 UTC lift off

knowing there's a storm out at sea, Jeb & Val will take the Deuce (which has been repaired) for another science flight later today after 3rd sunrise to gather more in-situ weather data from the low-pressure system in the eastern Kerblantic

the Deuce departed a few minutes ago and will be out of contact over the horizon soon. Jeb is in command with Val on nav & comms. They will do their best to track the storm system and hopefully do not encounter conditions that are too rough for the aircraft

Jeb has vectors to KSC once Val got in touch with us on their way back. They've collected as much data as the aircraft could store and will setup for a direct approach to Rwy27. Val says the ride got rather bumpy but nothing the aircraft couldn't handle

Deuce is taxiing back to the HAB after a smooth landing. It will be pulled back inside to undergo a bit of a cabin upgrade and allow a passenger to monitor the weather data as it is gathered and direct the flight crew towards areas of interest

with months or weeks of downtime in past crisis scenarios, we are happy to be back to "normal" operations so quickly this time. Our review of what went down this week at KSC can be found here: kerbalspace.agency/?p=10046
