We sent up a KerBalloon for the sole purpose of seeing what cool photos we could get from and on the way to 16.5km. For added effect, we did it at sunset

very basic cameras, fragile, narrow FOV. Not the kind we would strap to the sides of rockets, so still not able to do that yet unfortunately

they are programmed to snap photos every few minutes during the ascent so we'll have to wait and see what we get after recovery of the probe

we've had good launch - we're hoping wind will spin it around enough to get photos from various angles, not just the E/W it's pointed now

UTVs have departed to head out for payload recovery. Probe still rising, we timed launch to reach apokee just after sunset (at ground level)

UTVs are tracking the payload as it descends under chute. We will analyze the various images tomorrow AM & post an album of the best ones
