back in the HAB for its post-trial maintenance checkouts and some control/suspension adjustments per Cpt Jeb's observations, Deuce will be rolled out again at 3rd sunrise for flight trials if C7 finds data review satisfactory

C7 have decided they need more time to review today's data, especially in light of observed undercarriage issues. Deuce flight trials have been pushed back to 3rd sunrise Monday pending good ground checks earlier on the day

Bill & Bob have set off with their team in 3 UTVs for bit.ly/Site_GLE-F8 as crews finish rolling out the Deuce for Jeb & Val to preflight after they finish their briefing. Weather bad for flying but ground trials can proceed no problem as long as it doesn't rain...

Deuce is fired up & ready to taxi, suspension spring/damping has been adjusted and hydraulic system flushed. Main focus today will be on takeoff runs to see if swerving is still exhibited by the gear

Jeb & Val have made two runs down and back the length of the turf runway traveling as high as 55m/s and although it's really bouncy Jeb says he has no trouble holding the aircraft straight. Next run will push to 70m/s

excellent takeoff run saw the Deuce cover just over a kilometer (~1/2 the runway) at full throttle to achieve minimum takeoff speed, took a few big hops. Still a few minor items to test but the big item of the day looks like a PASS

taxiing back to the HAB, C7 will once again study data before clearing flight trials later today, assuming weather conditions improve enough to allow for flying
