after camping out another night cycle the KB team finally made it to the eastern Kravass caverns. They'll set out for KSC tomorrow and drop Bob off along the way to launch a low-altitude balloon from bit.ly/Zone_9-LM7

UTVs have dropped off Bob along the shore to board MSV Tongjess, which set sail from Umbarg back on Monday with the low-altitude KerBalloon aboard. They will head out and release after 3rd sunrise, UTVs continuing on the remainder of their ~350km journey back to KSC

we have release of the low-altitude KerBalloon prior to sunrise as contract specifies, will gather temperature readings as it rises up to 16.5km before the expanding gas within exceeds the tolerance of the envelope material (in simpler terms: POP!)

nominal ascent of the balloon, now falling back towards the ocean surface as Tongjess moves into position to recover it from the water. The ship will cruise back to Umbarg over the next two days
