bit.ly/KerBalloonProg⦠will be heading out to sea for some more goo studies coupled with contract work while bit.ly/GenesisProgram has finally worked out a deal for the next round of Civvie atmospheric sample gathering

hoping for better weather this day cycle, it looks like the Civvie will remain grounded until tomorrow due to storms remaining over its target area in the central plains and high winds blowing here at KSC

Tedman won the coin toss with Aldeny and will be climbing into the Civvie cockpit for his first mission, taking off at second sunrise to head up to bit.ly/Area_CL-N0 and get some updated air samples for pollen counts

suited up and briefed, Tedman is heading out to climb aboard the Civvie for preflight. Aldeny took the time to check out the aircraft and ensure everything is still in good condition since its last flight at the end of April

winds light out of the west, Flight has given Ted clearance to taxi out to Runway 27 for takeoff and standard departure - climb runway heading to 800m ASL before turning on course for his objective

roughly 100km to Area CL-N0, Ted had a smooth departure and is climbing to cruise at 2.5km so he clears the terrain to the north before descending to open the scoop and start gathering samples from 500m AGL working his way up to 3.5km AGL

dropping below the highlands, we'll be back in touch with Ted as he returns. Aldy, meanwhile, is keeping himself busy after realizing it's been a while since the 2 Civvies stored in the HAB have been given a decent inspection

KSC ho! Tedman has cleared the horizon and reports no troubles during his flight. Winds have started to shift towards the southwest but remain light, Flight is vectoring him in for a direct approach to Runway 27

a rough short final, Ted admits he was rustier than he thought given he had mainly been flying the Deuce lately. Down safely though with no damage to the aircraft or instruments, he is taxiing in to end the mission and allow researchers to grab the precious data
