contracts signed for both crews of bit.ly/KerBalloonProg… will be carried out this month into next. As Mortimer expected, income has fallen due to the increasing length of missions. Hopefully soon some local opportunities will be available again

high-altitude KerBalloon team have left Umbarg aboard MSV Lymun to sail ~1200km for bit.ly/Area_EE-22G. Assuming they can release without weather delays, the trip should take them at least three days. Seas are rough near the poles however & weather is stormy

high-altitude KerBalloon crew have just pulled back into port after a successful release and recovery, they just had to wait for ideal conditions to send the balloon up to keep icing from affecting its ascent
