Val is climbing back aboard the Civvie for another flight, this time she's gotten approval to land without the chute! For reals! Good luck!

Val has departed from Rwy27 & will again enter the pattern crosswind over KSC and back around to land on Rwy09, hoping for a better approach

Civvie is flying north directly over KSC at 1.13km as Val works through another nice tight pattern, will now begin her descent for landing

val has completed her base leg and turned to final approach, lined up well with runway, clear of hills & dropping low to shed some speed

Emergency crews are... NOT rushing to the runway 🙂 Val touched down ~4m short of the dirt but still on the apron, 2 bounces then settled

Val will let the C7 engineers take another good look at the aircraft after that touchdown, maybe will get in one more flight later today

earlier landing from the TDU recording. Val & C7 both agree approach was too fast, traveling 59m/s upon touchdown. Should be more like 45m/s

.@Deltaflyer_19 this engine has a fixed-pitch propeller. Less complicated, more reliable, less maintenance - good for experimental aircraft

.@Deltaflyer_19 fuel mixture is also fixed so engine parameters are constant during testing. Can extrapolate performance with data gathered
