taken earlier when she had a better view, Val is back to cruising level & xmitted this to us now, on her 4th pass, having reached 4.5km ASL

Val will be up this high for only a few more minutes longer, as air temperature is ~28°F & air pressure is dangerously low @ just over 50kPa

starting on her sixth pass, Val has gathered the required higher-altitude data and has begun a slow descent back to sea level for landing

after nine passes through the target area at varying altitudes Val is carrying speed from descent so setting up 20km out for final approach

Val has dropped her approach speed to 50-55m/s & is 11km out on final, keeping it low & slow looking for a better landing this time around

better, but not her best - she let the nose drop too much over the runway, bumped down hard @ 46m/s for one bounce before rattling to a halt
