Jeb has taxi & takeoff clearance for Rwy09, winds still mostly out of the east - high-pressure system out at sea these past few days

coming about west after takeoff, climbing to 800m then turning north Jeb is through 1km for 2.7km hdg335, ~70m/s for a nice easy climb

Jeb will at least be able to clear this terrain to gain access to the backside of Western Mtns, but still unknown if he can go all the way

passing east of bit.ly/Sector_QKRM, Jeb is also doing some reconnaissance for KerBalloon to ensure UTVs can access the launch zone

Jeb is behind the mountains & too low for comm signals to reach us. Flight Director Lanalye did not like this, but was overruled by C7

normally an airship would provide signal bounce but no time to arrange one when weather turned out to be iffy today. Jeb is on his own

scratchy signal from Jeb as he comes back around the mtns - success! He was able to access the observation area w/o climbing past 2.85km

lined up for final Jeb is absurdly high but given his history w/ this appr, understandable. Civvie needs only like 1/6 of our runway anyway

Jeb floated nearly 3/4 down the runway before bumping down, is now taxiing back in. Lanalye still not happy at risks taken this flight
