The Kerbal Space Agency fulfills its mandate to explore the Kerbol system by organizing missions centered around common goals. When grouped together, these missions form programs, which provides a common way to recognize and identify them. In addition to having multiple goals, programs can also have as many missions as are required to complete them, using numerous different vessels to which the missions are attached. The structure and organization of programs differs depending on the types of missions being carried out, and each has a page dedicated to defining its purpose and covering its various missions.
