the high-altitude KerBalloon crew have now also landed their first contract since Feb. We are happy to see agencies returning to us for more data. The balloon program remains our most reliable, with an overall success rate of 90%

high-altitude KerBalloon crew have set sail for bit.ly/Sector_Q-0ZN5 in the high arctic ocean aboard MSV Tongjess. The ship is also carrying another research crew that will be collecting samples from the deep sea while the KB crew samples the high air

MSV Tongjess has returned to port in Umbarg with our high-alt KB crew, who were forced to release their backup balloon when the first suffered icing issues and failed to reach high enough for good data. Slight hit to profit, but what must be done for mission success
