high-altitude KerBalloon team, waiting on good weather, have set out today with their airship for bit.ly/Area_ZX-363. In addition to the balloon release they will carry out some extended surface experiments in the harsh desert environment

high-altitude KerBalloon crew is departing today for bit.ly/Sector_HH-3947 - meteorologists are interested in this area since winds to the west of the mountains blow southeast while winds to the right blow northwest, almost creating a vortex around them

due back last week, the high-altitude KerBalloon team once again had trouble out in the desert, although this time it was due to the balloon circling the mountains rather than clear them & landing high up on a slope that led to a tricky recovery w/ thankfully no injuries
